Muscat Stock Exchange Records Trade Volume Rise

Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East))trackingAccording to Al-Sharq newspaper (January 8, 2009), Mr. Ahmed bin Abdul-Nabi Macki, National Economy Minister and Deputy Chairman of the Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council in the Sultanate of Oman, said that the total volume of the traded stocks on the Muscat Stock Exchange rose to OR 3.62 billion in 2008, up from OR 2.66 billion in the previous year, an increase of 36%.
